Stephanie Kaudela-Baum studied economics at the universities of Augsburg and Basel. During her studies, she completed various internships in different industries. After graduating, she took on a position as a research assistant and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Business and Economics/University of Basel and completed her doctorate on the topic of strategic human resource management. She has several years of teaching experience at universities in the areas of innovation management, organisational development, change management, leadership development and qualitative social research. At the Institute of Management and Regional Economics, she is Co-Head of the Competence Centre for Business Development, Leadership and Human Resources and is a member of the Institute's Executive Board.
Her current research focuses on organisational creativity, innovation leadership, agile transformation and people management, collaborative leadership and leadership in expert organisations. Stephanie Kaudela-Baum has published numerous articles on these topics. She is active in national and international expert committees, including ISPIM (International Society for Professional Innovation Management), CINet (Continuous Innovation Network) and the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW).
She accompanies transformation processes in organisations within the framework of consulting projects, (co-)directs several postgraduate courses and the Major People Management and Organization in the MSc Business Administration programme.
