Comprising of the Lucerne Schools of Engineering and Architecture, Business, Computer Science and Information Technology, Social Work, Design, Film and Art and Music, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) is the largest educational institution in Central Switzerland. The HSLU is one of seven publicly funded and administered universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. Founded in 1997, it is overseen by an Intercantonal Council of six Central Swiss cantons.
