Overview

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, companies are increasingly relying on remote work. As a result, office space is reduced, and employees no longer have a fixed workplace where they can work every day. Remote work brings benefits for companies and employees, but challenges also arise in relation to its potential negative impact on teamwork, innovation, organizational learning, and occupational health. The aim of the Raydesk application (non-native app) is not only to make it easier for employees to book workplaces, but also to enrich the booking software with User-Centered Design (UCD) and User Experience (UX). The user experience focuses on employees. They should be able to find free workplaces, meeting rooms, parking spaces or any infrastructure that is important for them as easily as possible, know who is on site and when, from which department, with what skills and interests. The app focuses on the relevant data and tools to promote interaction among employees.
