For the duration of the program, students work closely together with an advisor specialised in their chosen study field, receiving a ‘1 to 1’ focus for their future development. Specifically, the advisor helps the student to establish a personalised study program, oversees the project modules and master thesis, and provides the possibility to participate in the relevant competence research centres at HSLU.
In addition to the project and research focus, students participate in lecture modules offered through the Cooperation Master with other Swiss Universities of Applied Science. Accordingly, theory modules take place at a central location (normally Zurich, but also Bern and Lugano), with other MSE students and teaching staff in Switzerland, leading to a wider range of available courses and expert knowledge. Alongside the studies, the School of Engineering and Architectre offers students access to state of the art infrastructure.
