She is a researcher and lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences & Arts. She explores material and tacit knowledge at the intersection of design & technology. During the past ten years, her research collaboration with the textile industry has resulted in novel materials, manufacturing processes and product innovations that were introduced in the market.
Since 2008 with her company Tiger Liz Textiles, she develops, designs and manufactures soft, textile and functional materials for various architectural applications.
In 2001 her Diploma collection called "ROSA" was awarded with the Designpreis Schweiz in the Category Willy Guhl.
Four of her by nature interdisciplinary research projects have been nominated for the Designpreis Schweiz 2011, 2013, 2017 and she is in 2015 the Winner in the category Research with the project DAFAT.
From 2015 to 2018 was representing HSLU within the Swiss Design Network.
For the Journal of Textile Design Research and Practice she is part of the advisory board.
