Prof. Dr. Christine Grimm specializes in circular economy and sustainability strategies at HSLU. Her research explores systemic implications of circularity, unintended consequences of innovation, business model transformation and new business development.
With an interdisciplinary background—a Master’s in Management and a PhD in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies from the University of Edinburgh—she has always worked at the intersection of technology and business management, allowing her to approach sustainability challenges from multiple perspectives. She strongly believes in lifelong learning and pursued courses at MIT (System Dynamics and Circular Economy), the University of Edinburgh (Carbon Capture and Storage) as well as the University Applied Sciences and Arts Lucerne, (CAS in Teaching for Higher Education).
