The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has several canteens, a crèche, lecture theatres, various workshops and studios. It also has fabrication laboratory for making prototypes and a media laboratory for audio and video projects.

MediaLab

The University's MediaLab offers technical equipment and support to facilitate the use of audio and video projects in teaching and in research. Two workstations with semi-professional equipment are available at Werftestrasse 4. The MediaLab can be used by any member of the University's staff for creating and editing digital audio and video material.

Das FabLab steht offen für alle

FabLab

Very straightforward, quick and available to all, the FabLab is a digital do-it-yourself workshop located in the former boiler room of the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture. It contains a laser cutter, three Ultimaker 3D printers, a CNC milling machine, a styrofoam hot wire cutter, a deep-draw thermoforming machine and an electronics area.

The Lucerne Kita Campus Crèche takes the children of students and staff under its wing and offers reasonable terms.
