Fairy tale tape goes digital: iHomeLab stores life stories in digital "time capsules"
"No one has as much to tell as older people who have experienced a lot. And stories, in turn, are ideally suited to integrating older people," says Andrew Paice, head of the iHomeLab at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. This is the idea behind the "HiStory" project, which aims to better integrate older people into society by telling and digitally recording their life stories. Technically, "HiStory" is a very low-threshold programme that makes it possible to record the stories, revise them and finally release them for others.
