The smart home iHomeLab is available for custom guided tours or free public guided tours and can also be rented for an event.
Come and visit the iHomeLab Visitorcenter. The iHomeLab is the only public platform that presents current research projects in the form of stories, making technology and research tangible for all interested parties.
Our public guided tours are free of charge. Due to a limited space, a registration is required. Please note that the public guided tours are in German only.
During the approximately one-hour guided tour, visitors will learn a lot about the topics "Intelligent Building Technology" and "Intelligent Living". They will be informed about the current state of research, learn about concrete research projects and get access to the large iHomeLab partner network.
Register for a custom guided tour
The iHomeLab is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 19:00. A guided tour lasts 60 minutes and costs CHF 390 (incl. VAT). Due to space limitations, the number of participants is limited to 12. Larger groups please contact the event management.
Guided tours at iHomeLab can be extended with a meeting and/or an aperitif at iHomeLab. Several cinema halls and meeting rooms of different sizes are available. The meeting rooms are equipped with modern conference technology. Apéros can be held in the iHomeLab or in the refectory of the Lucerne School of Engineering & Architecture. The iHomeLab has its own event management team, which is happy to assist interested parties with the organization.
