Since 2018, the award has been presented jointly by the Swiss Finance & Property Group and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Xiaojiao Xie has achieved impressive success in her academic and professional career. In her Master’s thesis, ‘Megatrends and the Future of the Swiss Housing Market: Implications for Developers and Investors’, she analysed the impact of megatrends on the Swiss property market. In doing so, she identified five key megatrends and emphasised the need for adaptable living spaces, specialised housing and consideration of the lifestyle preferences of Gen Z and millennials.
Her academic career includes a Master’s degree in Real Estate Studies from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where she received awards for the best Master’s thesis and outstanding academic achievement.
Xiaojiao Xie also has an impressive professional background, including roles at companies such as Johnson & Johnson, SIG Combibloc, ICARE Group SA and Innovation Atelier SA. She currently works as a Senior Consultant in Urban Development at Nüesch Development AG.
