Biografie

 

Prof. Dr. Janko Auerswald ist Dozent für Werkstoffkunde und Leiter des Werkstofflabors an der Hochschule Luzern. Nach seinem Studium der Werkstoff- und Ingenieurwissenschaften an der Technischen Universität Berlin und an der BGSU, USA, promovierte er an der Universität Ulm bei Leibniz-Preisträger Prof. Dr. H.-J. Fecht. 

Am Hahn-Meitner-Institut Berlin, Max-Planck-Institut Stuttgart und CSEM Schweiz forschte er auf den Gebieten der Hochtemperatur-Superlegierungen, der epitaktischen Halbleiterstrukturen sowie der Mikro- und Nanotechnologien. 

In Kaderpositionen bei TRUMPF Schweiz und V-ZUG AG wirkte er an der Entwicklung neuer Produkte und Technologien in der Lasermaterialbearbeitung, in der Oberflächentechnik und im Bereich nachhaltiger Haushaltsgeräte mit.
