Biografie
Tina Ohnmacht ist seit September 2022 verantwortliche Koordinatorin im Master Animation und Dozentin in der Animation an der Hochschule Luzern.
In Konstanz und Dublin studierte Tina Ohnmacht deutsch- und englischsprachige Literatur, Kunst- und Medienwissenschaft. Nach einem Zwischenstopp in der Förderbetreuung bei der MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg wechselte sie 2002 an das neu gegründeten Animationsinstitut der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Als künstlerisch-wissenschaftliche Assistentin, Studienkoordinatorin/Head of Studies für die Bereiche Animation und Interaktive Medien, später als Projektbetreuerin für die Abschlussfilme war sie u.a. verantwortlich für die Koordination und Entwicklung des Curriculums und die Begleitung der studentischen Projekte. Als Dozentin baute sie den Bereich Animationsgeschichte und -theorie mit auf und unterrichtete Geschichte, Theorie und Praxis der Animation an der Filmakademie, der Universität Tübingen und der Hochschule Darmstadt.
2021 schloss Tina Ohnmacht ihre Promotion an der Universität Tübingen über «Wasser in Animationsfilmen» ab (Betreuerin: Prof. Dr. Susanne Marschall). Von 2008 bis 2022 leitete Tina Ohnmacht für die Filmakademie das internationale Talent Programm «Animation Sans Frontières» und war als Head of International Network von 2020 bis 2022 verantwortlich für den Ausbau internationaler Austauschprogramme und Aktivitäten. Zusammen mit Constanze Bühner initiierte sie das jährlich stattfindende Animation Schools Exchange Netzwerktreffen europäischer Games- und Animationsschulen.
Tina Ohnmacht war in der Programmkoordination der FMX Conference sowie als Moderatorin und Diskussionsleiterin für unterschiedliche Konferenzen und Events tätig.
Tina Ohnmacht has been a lecturer and responsible coordinator for the Master Animation at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts since September 2022.
Tina Ohnmacht studied German and English literature, art and media studies in Konstanz and Dublin. After a stopover in film funding at the MFG Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, she moved to the newly founded Animationsinstitut at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2002. As artistic-scientific assistant, study coordinator/head of studies for the fields of animation and interactive media, and later as project supervisor for the graduation films, she was responsible, among other things, for the coordination and development of the curriculum and the supervision of student projects. As a lecturer, she helped to build up the field of animation history and theory at Filmakademie and taught the history, theory and practice of animation at the Filmakademie, the University of Tübingen and the Hochschule Darmstadt.
In 2021, Tina Ohnmacht completed her PhD at the University of Tübingen on "Water in Animated Films" (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Susanne Marschall). From 2008 to 2022, Tina Ohnmacht headed the international talent programme "Animation Sans Frontières" for the Filmakademie and, as Head of International Network from 2020 to 2022, was responsible for the expansion of international exchange programmes and activities. Together with Constanze Bühner, she initiated the annual Animation Schools Exchange network meeting of European games and animation schools.
Tina Ohnmacht was involved in the programme coordination of the FMX Conference and as a moderator and discussion leader for various conferences and events.
