Students are advised to search for accommodation in good time prior to arrival. The city of Lucerne and it suburbs offer various types of accommodation for students. The non-profit association for student housing in Lucerne called StuWo offers modern and inexpensive rooms. Some rooms are especially reserved for exchange students.

«100 new living spaces for students are being developed at Suurstofi Rotkreuz»
Lucerne College is building apartment housing at the Suurstoffi site next to the Rotkreuz train station. With the campus Suurstoffi Rotkreuz, 100 new living spaces for students will be offered. In fall 2017, 52 dwellings for four to ten people in residential communities will be available. They are managed by Jugendwohnnetz Juwo.
The modern, light filled apartments are practically furnished and have spacious floor plans. The living spaces are centrally located next to the Rotkreuz train station. The move in date for the first spaces is planned on September 1st, 2017. The total gross monthly rent will be CHF 535 to CHF 666 per room in a shared flat with 4, 8 or 10 people. Utilities, furniture, and internet connection are included in this price.
