The building

In this historic building in the centre of Lucerne and next to the railway station there are 5 flats, each with 2 to 4 rooms. No lift available.

Around CHF 700.00 – CHF 840.00 per month, incl. additional costs such as water and electricity.

Rental periods
  • Fall semester from August to January
  • Spring semester from February to July

The rental agreements have a fixed term of 24 weeks. Requests for extensions can be made three months in advance. Extensions are not guaranteed! 

Equipment

Bed incl. duvet, pillow and bed linen, wardrobe or hanging possibility, desk, chair, pillow, blanket, bed linen, partly shelf. No towelling.

Maintenance and cleaning

The rooms and the entire flat must be kept spotlessly clean by the occupants.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with the essentials. Plates, glasses, saucepans, frying pans, cookware, various utensils.

Location

Train and bus station 5 minutes on foot. The lake is also a 5-minute walk away.

Shopping

There are numerous shops, pharmacies etc. in and around the station building.

Washing

There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the attic of the house.

Car parking

No car parking spaces available. Bicycle parking available.

Other facilities

Some flats have a small balcony. However, access is restricted to a maximum of 2 people.

Studierendenunterkunft Dreilinden, Rotkreuz im Kanton Zug

In Rotkreuz, centrally located in the village, just a few minutes' walk from HSLU at Suurstoffi 1 and directly opposite the train station, additional rooms will be available from September 2026. The building is designed as a meeting place, bringing together student accommodation, day schools, and municipal departments under one roof. The whole first and second floor, as well as part of the third floor, are available for HSLU students. Shared laundry and cooking facilities are available. Wifi provided. You can expect spacious, furnished single rooms (18-24 sqm) with your own private shower and toilet. Some rooms also have a small balcony. As construction work, renovations, and painting are currently underway in this building, no images of the rooms are available at this time.
