Library collection focus
We purchase new media according to the mandate of the Lucerne School of Business and the Lucerne School of Social Work. This includes providing media for educational and research purposes. Find a detailed description of our library’s collection focus here.
Media available on site
You can find all the media available on site on swisscovery RZS – HSLU as well. In our library, you can find books, journals and magazines, various daily and trade newspapers (Neue Luzerner Zeitung, Neue Zuger Zeitung, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Tagesanzeiger and WOZ). You can only read the journals, magazines and newspapers in the library.

Course reserve collections
Course reserve collections will be back in use from the autumn semester of 2026 at the earliest.
There is a designated shelf that contains semester reading materials selected by the lecturers of the Campus Luzern Bahnhof. In the swisscovery RZS research gateway, literature in the course reserve collections is labelled «seminar».
It can be accessed there from 31 July and 31 January respectively.
Literature physically shelved in the course reserve collections is not available for lending.
