Replacement of a HSLU-Card that has been lost incurs a processing charge of CHF 50. In the case of damage due to wear and tear (if the card is older than 2.5 years) or through no fault of one’s own, the processing charge may be waived. Any remaining balance on a lost, stolen or damaged HSLU-Card will be reimbursed on request within 30 days after the card being blocked.
Lost or damaged cards must be notified to a School’s reception or secretariat (Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture: School Services) without delay. It will be blocked immediately for your security and ours.
Returning the HSLU-Card
The HSLU-Card need not be returned. It continues to serve as a library ID after graduation/after termination of the employment contract. However, it is advisable to exchange it for an IDS Card at your library (fee CHF 10). For a refund of any remaining balance, please contact the staff at the reception or secretariat (School of Engineering and Architecture: Departmental Services) of your department within 30 days.
Members of staff at a reception or secretariat (Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture: School Services) will be happy to answer your queries regarding the HSLU-Card.
