Preparatory Studies An intense year of music

The preparatory studies in the Classical Music and Jazz profiles is available for students with an academic baccalaureate or equivalent certificate. Over nine months, it prepares them for the BA entrance exam at the Lucerne School of Music or another music college. Main subject instruction typically continues until the end of the second semester (June). For students who are not eligible for cantonal funding, the pre-study course is also available as option «A» (without main subject instruction) or «B» (theory classes only).
