Study full-time, part time or on a work-study track Flexible time models

The three time models - full time, part time and work-study track - allow for flexible curriculum planning, catering to the needs of those who have a job or a family, or are active in competitive sport.

Three time models are available for the Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (start of the program only in fall possible), Information Technology, Information & Cyber Security and Business Information Technology programs: full time, part time and work-study track. Students may switch between time models over the course of the program. They may enter the program in the fall or in the spring semester .

Full time: focus on studying

  • The full-time curriculum lasts six semester, or three years.
  • Classes generally take place Mondays to Fridays, during the day.
  • Ideal for students who prefer a compact program.

Part time: studying with a family or a sports career

  • The part-time curriculum lasts eight semester, or four years.
  • As a rule, days of instruction are flexible.
  • Ideal for students who need a bespoke timetable due to family duties or competitive sport.

Work-study track: combining work and study

  • The work-study track lasts eight semester, or four years.
  • Classes generally take place on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as on Saturday mornings.
  • Ideal for students who wish to pursue a professional career while studying.
  • The work experience counts toward the learning requirements.
  • Employment of between two and three days a week is recommended.

Start of the program: spring or fall

  • Some bachelor programs also offer the possibility to start in Spring or Fall

Tuition times

  • Mondays to Fridays: 09:05 to 11:25, 12:50 to 15:10, 15:30 to 17:50, 18:30 to 20:50
  • Saturday mornings: 08:30 to 10:50, 11:10 to 13:30
