Biografie

Verena Batt studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Französisch und Spanisch (Diplom-Romanistik mit wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Qualifikation) an der Universität Mannheim. Während ihres Studiums war sie in Unternehmen verschiedener Branchen (Consulting, IT, Chemie) tätig. Im Anschluss an ihr Studium arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Marketing und Unternehmensführung an der Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Basel (WWZ) und promovierte zum Thema „Qualität der Internen Markenführung. Konzeptualisierung, empirische Befunde und Steuerung eines markenkonformen Mitarbeiterverhaltens“. Der sich anschliessenden Phase als Postdoctoral Researcher an der Universität Basel folgte ein Ruf an die Leuphana Universität Lüneburg auf die Juniorprofessur für Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Marketing. Parallel war sie in verschiedenen Beratungsprojekten als Freelance-Consultant tätig.

 

An der HSLU ist Verena Batt in der Forschung und Lehre tätig. In der Forschung widmet sie sich Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekten in den Themenbereichen Dienstleistungsmarketing und -management. In der Lehre unterrichtet sie im Studiengang Business Psychology und Business Administration, insbesondere in Modulen aus den Bereichen Marketing und Methodenlehre.
