Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals in sub-saharan Africa is one of the great challenges confronting the continent. There is anecdotal evidence to suggest that cooperatives provide a uniquely effective vehicle for SDG implementation in a way that promotes local involvement in the process. This pilot project sees a HSLU-W researcher partner with a university and an NGO in Zimbabwe on developing the theoretical framework for an implementing a cooperative solution to SDG implementation in Zimbabwe.
