The online program of the national campaign includes presentations and discussions that are open to all interested persons: Programm of the Sexual Harassment Awareness Day 2026
Training for all HSLU contact persons in cases of sexual harassment and sexist discrimination (employees in management positions, lecturers)
Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is a place of dialogue and mutual respect. Sexual harassment and sexist discrimination are not tolerated at HSLU. Nevertheless, boundaries are sometimes crossed in our everyday work and study life. The "Regulations for the Protection of Personal Integrity" define contact persons to whom those affected can turn in such cases. In addition to the confidential advisors and members of the Diversity Commission, this includes lecturers, study and program coordinators, institute directors, and HR supervisors. To ensure that these contact persons can fulfill their duty of care and provide appropriate advice to victims in cases of sexual harassment or sexist discrimination, we invite them to attend a training course. The training course will take place on Sexual Harassment Awareness Day, which will be held throughout Switzerland on April 21.
The training focuses on the following topics:
- What is sexual harassment, what is sexist discrimination – and what is not?
- What responsibilities do I have as a supervisor or lecturer in preventing and recognizing sexual harassment and sexist discrimination?
- How can I support a victim during initial contact?
- What guidelines and contact points are available at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts?
Date: April 21 and April 22 2026
Time: 15:15 – 16:00
Place: Online via Teams: Link to the training
Language: German
The training is primarily aimed at employees in management positions and administrative supervisors, as well as lecturers. Study and program coordinators and institute directors are also invited to attend the training as contact persons. Other employees and students of the HSLU are also welcome to participate. Registration is not required.
The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts does not tolerate any form of harassment and encourages respectful interaction.
