Biography
Oliver Gilbert is a computer scientist, professor and former CIO and CEO with more than 25 years of experience in technology-driven organizations.
As a Digital Veteran, he brings a long-term perspective and a strong sense of responsibility to teaching, applied research and continuing education.
At the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, he is engaged in undergraduate and graduate education, continuing education, applied research and service projects. His academic focus lies on computer science, technology leadership and the question of how complex systems can be designed and led in a reliable, secure and human-centered way.
In his work, he combines practical leadership experience from industry with academic reflection and didactic expertise.
