Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design

The BA in Interior Design builds skills and knowledge in interior design, furniture design and materials science.

Das Studium in Gebäudetechnik befähigt die angehenden Ingenieurinnen und Ingenieure effiziente und nachhaltige Gebäude zu konzipieren und spielt daher eine wichtige Schlüsselrolle bei der Umsetzung der Energiewende.

Bachelor of Science in Building technology | Energy

The Bachelor's degree in Building Technology | Energy deals with the planning, optimization, and operation of technical systems in buildings. Students acquire skills in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitation, and energy technology in order to develop sustainable and efficient building concepts.

Bachelor of Science in Energy and Environmental Technology

The Bachelor's degree in Energy and Environmental Technology combines technical, ecological, and economic aspects such as energy supply, environmental technology, and sustainability. Practical and interdisciplinary collaboration enables students to find innovative solutions to climate change, environmental pollution, and resource scarcity.

Curriculum

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Digital Construction

This interdisciplinary course trains participants to become specialists in digitalization in construction. Topics such as BIM, digital twins, data thinking, and IoT are the focus of the course and help participants to adequately consider and implement sustainability, energy, and economics in construction planning and implementation processes.

Master of Arts in kollaborativer Raumentwicklung

Master of Arts in Collaborative Spatial Development

In the MA [ohne Punkte] in Collaborative Spatial Development, students develop practical models for the future of built and lived space in urban, suburban, and rural contexts. Topics such as climate change, demographics, migration, and the housing and energy crises play a central role.

Sustainability in construction

Students at the Department of Construction complete the interdisciplinary module “Sustainability in Construction” in their first semester. This module enables students of architecture, interior design, civil engineering, building services engineering, and digital construction to develop a common understanding of sustainability in the built environment. In the subsequent joint project modules in the second and fifth semesters, the fundamentals of sustainability developed are further expanded on and consolidated.

Process engineering

Process and environmental engineering plays a central role in the sustainable use of material and energy resources. The Process Engineering module introduces important aspects of environmental engineering with a strong practical focus, external experts, and field trips.

Block week on wind energy and eco-technology

The wind energy and eco-technology block week teaches the fundamentals of wind energy technology as applied to various types of turbines and systems. Stakeholder and environmental impact analyses are carried out using specific plants to assess the effects of emissions on people and ecosystems.
