The project explores a solution to support people with dementia in their own four walls. The solution includes various sensors for direct support of the dementia person, for example when taking medication or food on a regular basis. In addition, nursing organizations and carers from the personal environment are involved. The system supports them in care and in the areas of safety and prevention.
The infrastructure includes sensor-based activity monitoring systems, corresponding software algorithms for behavioural analysis, mobile applications for operation and information retrieval.
