Limits (CH 2022)

In a forest he has digitized for fear that it will disappear, Simon runs. This forest was his companion as he came of age and gave him support in times of uncertainty. «Limites» is a search in three parts which evokes the relationship between a jogger and a forest to question our relationship with the living world, the limits of matter and those of the digitalization of nature.

«Limites», the experimental documentary film (CH 2022, 7'30") is the first part of a trilogy. «Limites» had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival 2022 and was presented in the international programme at Ars Electronica 2022.

Whatever the Weather (CH 2016)

An animation film based on an interview about alcoholism in the family. Excess drinking and addiction are often deliberately ignored and not talked about. Based on childhood memories, this short film shows the effects and consequences of alcoholism on the families of addicts. The work is an appeal to pay more attention to this topic and to stop looking away.

HOW DO YOU FEEL? A Menstruanimation. (CH 2026, 15 Minutes)

HOW DO YOU FEEL? A Menstruanimation. is a short experimental documentary. Through the stories of various people, the film guides the viewer through an entire menstrual cycle, revealing the diversity of experiences, feelings, and emotions that stand in contrast to the linear structures of socially established everyday life and its expectations.

The voices offer small insights into 14 beautiful, recorded conversations. The music is an interpretation of the musician’s own menstrual cycle. Photos and objects provided by the protagonists served as the basis for the abstract animation.

Eduardo Spelterini (CH 2023, 16 Minuten)

The animated film Eduardo Speltarini offers a glimpse into the adventurous life of the Swiss aviation pioneer of the same name. Born in 1852 in Bazenheid (SG) as Eduard Schweizer into the most impoverished circumstances, Speltarini was not only the first person to fly across the Alps in 1898, but also changed the way we see the world with spectacular photographs taken from his hot-air balloon. His rise to fame came to an abrupt end with the outbreak of the First World War. All that remains of Eduardo Spelterini are memories of an exciting life and a few streets and squares that bear his name today.
