Sentitreff

Sentitreff is an intercultural meeting place and experimental space in Lucerne’s BaBeL district. The centre is dedicated to fostering an open-minded, inclusive community life within a culturally diverse environment. Over 200 people volunteer their time to help create a vibrant, supportive community.

KONA – Kompetenzzentrum Nachhaltigkeit

The Centre of Excellence for Sustainability (KONA) actively promotes the sustainable development of Swiss tourism at a central level as a national contact and coordination point. Since 2022, KONA has been established under the umbrella of the STV, which, together with its core members, is pursuing the vision of shaping Switzerland into a sustainable tourism destination. KONA aims to pool resources across the entire tourism value chain so that all tourism stakeholders can actively and collectively contribute to the implementation of the federal government’s tourism strategy and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the global 2030 Agenda.

The International Commission for the Protection of the Alps (CIPRA) is a non-profit, non-governmental umbrella organisation with offices in seven Alpine countries and a network of over 100 member associations. CIPRA works on a scientific basis, using diverse communication channels, political advocacy and practical projects to promote sustainable development. It is committed to preserving the natural and cultural heritage, strengthening regional diversity and finding joint solutions to cross-border challenges in the Alpine region.
