This new programme at the Lucerne School of Business closes the 'digital gap' in the legal world. We train legal practitioners who think across boundaries, communicate with purpose and move confidently through a dynamic environment with demanding technological and regulatory requirements. You learn how to understand legal questions in a business context, solve them efficiently with AI tools (LegalTech) and implement these solutions successfully in modern companies.

Your direct route into corporate legal practice

This is not a classic law degree for the courtroom. Anyone aiming for the traditional bar qualification or a judgeship is better served by a more academic path. This programme is the deliberate alternative: we train you for roles directly in the legal, tax, HR and compliance departments of companies, banks, insurers and public authorities. Your legal toolkit, combined with technological understanding and management skills, forms a distinct profile that is in strong demand on today's market.

You are interested in the world of law and, at the same time, want to stay at the cutting edge of what the latest AI tools can do in business and law? Then you are in the right place. This Bachelor is for you if you:

• are interested in law, but a purely theoretical law degree does not fit your plans.
• want to understand how AI is changing the economy and how work processes can be transformed with digital tools.

After graduating, you can:

• analyse and manage legal challenges in a business context
• deploy LegalTech and AI tools in a targeted way (e.g. for contracts, compliance, data protection)

Thanks to your solid grounding in economics (36 ECTS in economics, management and finance), you have seamless progression to the HSLU Master's programmes: for example, the MSc in Business Administration, the MSc in Applied Data Science and AI and many more.
