Biography
Melanie Fürch is a business economist with expertise in sustainability in the fashion and textile industry. Her career has taken her to focus areas, from product development to buying to sustainability management with a focus on circular economy - working for international companies in Switzerland, Germany and Hong Kong. She studied educational sciences at the University of Flensburg and completed an MBA in Multichannel Trade Management in Textile Business at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. As a researcher at the Institute for Financial Services Zug IFZ at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts/School of Business, she is working on her dissertation in addition to practice-oriented research projects. She is also involved in voluntary work in the field of climate protection and human rights.
