• How many semesters must you spend in Vienna?
  - All students must spend their third semester in Vienna, in person. Their fourth, and final semester, can be spent in Vienna or in Switzerland. 
  - NB: If you are a non EU/EFTA passport holder you have to come back to Switzerland for your fourth and final semester. This is due to the fact that student visa regulations do not allow you to spend more than six months outside of Switzerland.

  Only students with a bachelors degree in one of these fields may apply:
  Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics. All certificates must be apostilled or approved by a Portuguese consulate.
  
• Thesis and Credits
  Supervisors can be from Aveiro or Rotkreuz. NB: all students have to be in Aveiro, in person, to defend their thesis (usually in June). 
• How many semesters will you spend in Portugal?
  Students must spend two full semesters (Fall and Spring) in Aveiro. Two courses are completed in Fall and two courses are completed in Spring. All courses require lab and practical work. The dissertation spans both semesters.
