Studies are showing that systems, which give the occupants a detailed feedback on their energy usage, result in an average energy saving of 5 to 15%. LoReMA helps, to utilize this potential. Its goal is, to measure every single appliance in the household and to display their energy consumption in real time. The energy is measured directly inside the power socket and transmitted to the display by means of a low power ZigBee radio link.
