Overview

In collaboration with our industry partner, Endress+Hauser, the project addresses the secure identification of industrial devices through the use of Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs), which derive a unique device fingerprint from manufacturing-specific hardware characteristics, as well as Key Derivation Functions (KDFs) for dynamic, storage-free certificate generation. This approach ensures that legacy devices remain compatible while simultaneously maintaining cost-effectiveness throughout the entire lifecycle.
