Overview

The aim of the feasibility study is to digitally model a parameter network of a Schindler product line in a central database. Configuration data will be automatically extracted from Engineering Master Documents (EMD) and stored in a structured format. Based on this data, network analyses will support technical decision-making and product design. Furthermore, a scalable solution space will be computed to efficiently capture the vast number of possible product configurations. Technical challenges such as error-free information extraction, data model optimization, performance of graph-based databases, and operational aspects like deployment and maintenance will be addressed in depth.
