RadiatorCheck – Planning Tool for Reused Radiators

Radiators have strong potential for reuse. For successful reuse, an early estimation of their heat output is crucial. RadiatorCheck is a user-friendly Excel tool that enables this assessment quickly and easily.

Overview

Radiators have great potential for reuse, but an early assessment of their heat output is crucial – and at the same time challenging, as they vary greatly in size and design.

Our vision is to make the reuse of radiators in building projects as simple as possible. To achieve this, the assessment of heat output is linked to data that can be easily collected on-site. The automated evaluation is integrated into an Excel-based tool and made accessible to non-experts through an intuitive form, allowing even complex values such as heat output to be estimated easily.

The tool is based on practical data and experience from Zirkular and Bauteilbörse Overall, supported by thermal modelling from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
