Overview
The systematic presentation of the known side effects of a therapy is referred to as its risk profile. Risk profiles enable an individual assessment of the risk-benefit ratio and thus support optimal therapy selection and patient education. Risk profiles are constantly evolving, whether due to new findings from phase IV studies after therapy approval, new observations in medical research articles, or new entries in pharmacovigilance registries. A risk profile that is up to date with the current state of research therefore requires continuous monitoring of the entire body of scientific literature. Using the example of radioiodine therapy, a specialized artificial intelligence is to be developed in this project.
