Overview

Design and delivery of a two-day face-to-face learning event aiming to convey key concepts, trends, and design and implementation guidance on PFM for Climate Action for selected government officials, World Bank staff, and development partners.

The following topics are offered as part of the capacity building event:
• Climate Change impacts and mitigation-adaptation responses
• Interlinkages of climate change and public finances
• Redefining the role of the CFA and other PFM institutions
• Aligning international climate commitments with fiscal strategy
• The most important green PFM tools, e.g.
  - Budget Tagging
  - GPP, PIM, PAG
  - Sustainability Reporting, Climate Auditing
• Bringing SOEs on board - Implementing sustainability agendas
