Overview
Volunteering work is not a well known resource in the professional social work in Albania until today. With this project, in collaboration with UNDP Albania, we would likte to introduce to a small group of local, professional social workers the necessary tools, discussions and reflexions to start working in networks, with volunteers. HSLU will support them in a kick-off workshop and in online-intervisions in their first, concrete experiences to create a network of volunteers in their neighbourhood (municipality, local level). HSLU provides capacity building and share best-practice-examples, but most important: to open up a space to make (first) experiences in the field around volunteer-work as a complementary ressource to professional social work. In 2025 HSLU supports UNDP in organizing a small confernce about this first experience, where the social workers will be part of.
