Overview
This project is part of the Innovation Booster "Web3 for Sport Data".
Web3 technology offers a solution to set the foundation for open and user-centric sports communities but still lacks adoption. Using the example of the Running Community and a Runner-ID combined with a custodial wallet managed by SwissRunning or the runners themselves we would like to explore and address some of the potential hurdles with the two PoCs.
Our aim is that all relevant stakeholders understand the impact i.e. pros, cons as well as opportunities and risks of the new paradigm. Also, we would like to validate a full application at the Swiss Olympic Innovation Hub for a potential roll-out after the end of the Innovation Booster “Web3 for Sport Data”.
