Overview

This research project aims to develop the foundation for a cybersecurity testbench for building automation. The goal for this testbench is to replicate a real building automation and control system (BACS) as closely as possible. It should serve several purposes: Vulnerability research, technology risk assessment, evaluation of secure standards such as BACnet Secure Connect and KNX Secure, training of cyber talent and preparation for system-level component testing (penetration testing).
