Overview
To address the challenges of climate change, the energy transition has become an essential component of our society. But how can we contribute concretely? EW Höfe AG responds to this with an innovative initiative: in collaboration with the Smart Region Lab at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the energy company is developing a data visualization tool that supports the population in the timely implementation of the energy transition. Information on CO2 emissions and solar potential is visualized on data tables, and possible changes through structural measures are simulated. The project will be presented at the "höfa" trade fair in 2024, sensitizing visitors to the topic of energy in a creative way. It demonstrates how individuals can contribute to the implementation of the energy transition and benefit from it themselves.
