Overview
Under the lead of RisiAlbania (supported by Helvetas Switzerland) a framework for a more sustainable tourism in Albania is developed. This includes all kind of stakeholders (public and private). This project is in line with two other earlier projects and continues the long term process and overall development goals.
Additionally the three destinations Gijrokastra, Saranda and Korca are guided in their tourism development. This includes 1. installing and developing a Destination Management Organisation, 2. building sustainable structures with all the relevant stakeholders from the tourism industry and the local municipalities and 3. starting and improving the operational work in the destination's tourism management.
