Overview

In NILM4Bal we investigate how smart meter data can be used to automatically identify large power consumers and quantify their load shift potential. In this way, the shiftable consumers already present in households and businesses can be used for load shifting. This will enable energy suppliers to optimise their load management and save costs without having to make additional investments in distribution networks.
