Overview
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), in partnership with the Ministry of Power, Government of India is supporting a project to reduce energy consumption in new commercial, residential and public buildings: the Building Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP). The overall objective of the project is to reduce energy consumption through efficient design, construction, innovative technologies and capacity building.
The expected outcome of the HSLU-review is a review report that provides an objective assessment of SDC’s BEEP as well as strategic inputs with regard to the future direction of SDC’s future engagement in the area of building energy efficiency in India. The report will be made available to the project implementation team as well as project partners such as government agencies and other stakeholders.
