Final Provisions, Continuing and Executive Education Lucerne School of Design Film Art

The CAS, CAS or MAS programme conforms to the relevant regulations in place at the start of a given continuing or executive education programme. We expressly reserve the right to make changes and/or amendments to existing regulations and to issue new regulations during the course of the continuing or executive education programme. These shall apply for all students as soon as they come into effect.

  • General Information about CAS/MAS programmes
The relevant information is available for download on the main website of the respective programme.
  • Academic Ordinance Governing Continuing and Executive Education at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, FH Zentralschweiz
  • Academic Regulations for the Continuing and Executive Education Programmes at the Lucerne School of Design Film Art

The evaluation of a sur-dossier application may be charged at cost (maximum amount: CHF 500).

The programme fee covers the direct costs of the continuing or executive education programme, including access to documents on the ILIAS platform and course handouts. It does not cover the costs of specialist literature, travel and meal expenses. These costs are fully borne by the participant.

As soon as the delivery of the CAS programme is confirmed, the fee will be invoiced in full. It must be paid in due time—typically before the commencement of the continuing or executive education programme.
Payment in instalments is possible in consultation with the continuing and executive education administration.

Examination and certificate fees will be charged upon completion of the CAS/MAS programme.

Persons withdrawing their enrolment after receipt of the admission confirmation will be charged with a CHF 500 inconvenience fee.
In case of early termination of a continuing or executive education programme or withdrawal of an enrolment submitted after the application deadline, the full course fee remains payable.

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts recommends that you take out cancellation insurance. It is available from a range of insurance companies.

In the event of too few registrations, the head of programme can postpone or cancel the continuing or executive education programme. Should this occur, those affected will be informed accordingly until 10 workdays after the registration deadline.

If the continuing or executive education programme is rescheduled, prospective participants may maintain their enrolment or withdraw it without cost implications.

The rectification of an assessed assignment or the retake of a module may be charged at cost (maximum amount: CHF 500).

Copyrights and privacy rights as well as the right to one’s own image also apply online. Written materials, videos and other school material shared on ILIAS and shown in web meetings shall not be shared with third parties. Web meetings shall not be recorded without the express consent of all participants.

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and its Schools provide no insurance coverage for the damage, destruction or loss of electronic equipment (e.g., laptops, digital cameras, storage devices or similar) owned by the course participants. It is therefore the participants’ responsibility to take out insurance for this kind of occurrence.

Participants undertake to comply with the internal order, health and safety regulations of the Lucerne School of Design Film Art. Participants are responsible for taking out liability insurance. The Lucerne School of Design Film Art accepts no liability of any kind.

The Lucerne School of Design Film Art is committed to delivering top-quality continuing and executive education programmes. Necessary changes—for instance, the replacement of a lecturer—do not entitle the participant to terminate the programme without cost implications.

§3 With your registration, you consent to the HSLU’s alumni network (HSLU Alumni) sending you information concerning HSLU Alumni membership upon completion of your continuing or executive education programme.
