Diversity Variety is to Everyone`s Benefit

The Specialist Unit for Diversity is responsible for tackling issues surrounding diversity, equal opportunities and mutual respect. It implements the diversity policies, coordinates projects and events and provides a range of services.

People differ considerably from each other in many respects including gender, ethnicity, social background, age, ability, sexual orientation, religion or lifestyle. Variety is to everyone's benefit, and not just an economic benefit. Respecting people for their unique qualities, appreciating and supporting them, makes a thoroughly creative and productive atmosphere.

The "barrier-free" contact point is the first port of call for students with an impairment and questions about accessibility. It is available free of charge to all university employees and students across all programmes.
