Biography
Noëlle Jufer is a lecturer in Operations Management at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. She brings many years of experience at the interface of academic teaching, industrial practice, and consulting, with a focus on operational topics. Before joining the university, she spent many years supporting companies in the areas of production management, process design, organisational development, and strategically relevant transformation initiatives.
She completed her Master’s degree in Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich and subsequently earned her doctorate at ETH Zurich’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on digitalisation, Industry 4.0, and mass customization. In her work, she combines academic rigour with a clear practical orientation. Her professional focus lies in operations management, production and process management, data-based decision-making, and the design of effective improvements in complex organisations. In particular, she is concerned with the interface between strategy, development, processes, and operational implementation. In both teaching and practice, she is committed to structuring business challenges in a way that enables sound decisions and sustainable solutions.
