Biography
Dr. Anastasiia Grynko is a lecturer and researcher specializing in intercultural communication, crisis communication, and social media marketing. She is currently responsible for the Intercultural Competence in the Bachelor's programs Business Psychology and Business Administration at HSLU Business.
She worked as an analyst in international marketing research with a focus on brand localization in Eastern Europe at Synovate and has experience in public relations (reputation audits) at Weber Shandwick Group.
Anastasiia conducted research, developed trainings and lectured in the area of applied communication, journalistic and social media at the School of International and Public Affairs (Columbia University, USA), Institute for Methods (University of Göttingen, Germany), and the Mohyla School of Journalism (Ukraine). From 2020 to 2023, she co-lectured the course Crisis Communication at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Computer Science.
Her latest publications research focuses on teaching intercultural competence in business setting, cases in crisis communication, and digital disinformation campaigns in Switzerland.
Anastasiia is a member of the Swiss Association for Crisis Communication (VKK), the Swiss Association for Communication and Media Research (SGKM), and the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR Switzerland).
