Biography
I am passionate about combining the curiosity of a technology nerd, the expertise of a management consultant, and the creativity of an artist. This unique mix allows me to approach challenges from new perspectives and help organizations turn advanced technologies into human-centred business models.
I am a Senior Research Associate at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and see myself as a coach and enabler in both teaching and supervision. My work sits at the intersection of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, simulation modeling, and business innovation, with a strong focus on translating complex technical systems into practical decision support and data-driven Product-Service Systems (PSS) — always keeping the human in the loop.
My activities span applied research, industry collaboration, and executive-level problem solving. I am particularly passionate about practice-oriented work that connects theory, research, real-world application, and hands-on technical work such as coding. I lead and contribute to Innosuisse and Horizon Europe projects, and have addressed industrial challenges ranging from simulation-based capacity modeling for Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) to collaborations with startups such as nihito, helping bridge the gap between ideas and implementation, and between people and technology.
Before academia, I worked in product management, software development, and industrial innovation, leading projects at Dätwyler Cabling Solutions and SwissQual (now Rohde & Schwarz). I hold a Doctor of Business Administration, an Executive MBA, a Master of Engineering, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
I combine a strong engineering background with business and innovation leadership, enabling me to bridge technology, organizations, and market realities — from concept to implementation.
