Biography
Andreas Kallmann received a degree in Business Administration from the HWV Aargau – Solothurn in Olten, which he attended from 1988 – 1991. He then worked in the computer science industry and as chief financial officer for public institutions.
During this time, he completed a postgraduate course at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland in Olten and graduated as Corporate Development Manager NDS FH in 2002.
From 2007 till the end of 2025 he joined the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences as Executive Director of Finance & Services, which includes Business Applications, Finance, Facilities Management, Human Resources and IT Services.
Andreas Kallmann will continue to support the Rectorate on a part-time basis until summer 2026. He will also continue to work as a lecturer in education (leadership management, business simulation games).
