Biography
Born in Vienna, Austria. Studied media art in Vienna at the University of Applied Arts (Prof. Peter Weibel & Prof. Ruth Schnell) and at the Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam (Dr. Florian Cramer). Artistic and research practice at the intersection of digital infrastructure and society, focusing on making algorithmic systems visible, as well as on digitality, datafication, and digital surveillance.
Works across a range of media, including interactive installations, software art, and critical interventions between online and offline spaces. Exhibited and presented at international festivals and institutions, including ZKM Karlsruhe, Ars Electronica Linz, LABoral Gijón, and the Seoul Biennale in South Korea. Recipient of awards and distinctions from transmediale Berlin, Rhizome New York, and Ars Electronica Linz, among others.
Since 2016, teaching at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) across Design, Film & Art and Computer Science, including BA & MA Digital Ideation and Colabor programmes. Mentoring students in digital design and critical approaches to technology.
