The interdisciplinary network is an institutional promotion programme under the guidance of the HSLU’s Standing Committee on Research and Development and managed by the IDN Coordinator at the Research and Grants Office.
The IDN's focus is on promoting innovative proposals for major national and international calls that aim to build strong networks with partners from the business world and from politics, society and culture.
In terms of thematic focus, the programme is open, if oriented towards the HSLU’s Schools strategic research topics. These cooperations contribute to the creation of new interdisciplinary fields of activity and to the achievement of sustained research success.
With this IDN, the HSLU is making a valuable contribution towards promoting inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration between its Schools and its university and practice partners, strengthening the innovative power of its research activities in the process.
